Qualities Of A Good Wife Part 2

Another important quality is her purity of thought and heart, body and soul. Her mind does not dwell on things that are nasty or bad, but she considers her husband and her family, ponders their life together and the plans and goals they have, cares for the well-being of them all, and concerns herself with good stewardship for their belongings. She does not indulge in idle gossip or daydreaming but focuses on her husband and family, and God's word. She does not sit around idly or shirks responsibility, but gladly works and shares with all her family, and gives them all her energy, physically as well as mentally and spiritually, and loves them all with all her heart. She does not consider other people and their lives and cares and values, but concentrates completely and devotedly on her husband and family, and their well-being according to God's law.

The most important inner quality of all is her complete faithfulness and devotion to her husband. In her life, there is only this one man, her own husband, forever. No other man ever interests her, and she takes care not to be seen by other men by dressing modestly and wearing a veil when she has to leave the home, and by avoiding contact with society as best as she can. Her thoughts and feelings are all securely directed towards her husband, her dreams are filled with him alone, her plans revolve around their life together and their children, and she stands by her husband and supports him in every way. Her devotion for him is complete, and his goals and path for the family are hers, too, so that even if he died untimely, his work would live on in her guidance of the children, until the oldest son can continue her husband's godly work.

A husband can rely on his good wife to be obedient, honest, pure and faithful to him all their life, so that they can partake together in the work of Kingdom Building, and do God's will on earth.

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." (Pro 31:10)
