Being One Of Many Wives - Concerns

I would be unhappy about a wife who gossiped or complained about the husband, or any of her sister wives, or the children, to other people or within the family, or who secretly resented the life we lead, the simple life close to God's creation, and consequently would poison the whole family with her bitterness.

I would also be unhappy about a wife who tried to sow envy or even hatred amongst the wives or the children, or between the husband and one or more of her sister wives. It is very important for me that the women are on good terms with each other, in order to live a peaceful life, and not one of misery and envy.

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal 5:19-21)
