"By Way Of Remembrance" (2Pe 3:1) - Holiness in the Bible Part 7

This practice in itself is separation from a world that has largely forgotten about the 4th commandment, and that works and plants according to aspects economical of gain alone, instead of doing what God commanded us to do.

Since no animal that grows up in today's society is fit for eating anymore due to ungodly methods of raising and feeding animals just as well as due to similarly unfit slaughtering and processing methods, we are vegetarians. We grow as much of our own food as we can, and eat fish if we can catch some ourselves.

All in all, we practice separation in all areas of life, according to our reasonable service.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Rom 12:1-2)
"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." (1 Pe 1:15-16)
