How to be saved

What can YOU do to be saved ? The answer is simple: Nothing.

Salvation is solely by God's grace. Nothing you do, think or say can earn you salvation, you cannot buy your way into heaven, you cannot save yourself. Many are called, few are chosen (Mat 22:14), and if you are chosen, you will know it.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God" (Eph 2:8)

But if God put it in your heart to love Him, you will do your best to live according to His command word, and you can rest assured that the Holy Spirit will help you for "your best" is not up to you either.

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments." (Joh 14:15)

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." (Joh 14:26)

By your fruit you shall be known.

"You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" (Mat 7:16)
