How Shall We Judge Witchcraft ?

God’s judgment for those practicing divination or witchcraft is simple: Since by divination, sorcery, fortune telling and similar activities people try to be God, or at least be like God, their activities bring their blood upon them:

“For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you from being king.”(1Sa 15:23)

“You shall not permit a sorceress to live.” (Exo 22:18)

“A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.” (Lev 20:27)
