The second reason why we are looking for young women is this: The younger the wives are, the more chances of children we have, the more chance to fulfill God's plan and to raise all our children to His glory. The goal is to have your "quiver full of them", and young wives are important for it. We are looking for young ladies who have been dreaming of having many children, and raising them to God's glory, home schooling them and caring for them in a location removed from society's wickedness, so that they can enjoy being mothers to them to the full.
"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." (Psa 127:3-5)Furthermore, the younger the new wife is, the bigger are the chances that she has not defiled herself already. We hope to find someone who understands that sleeping with someone means marrying someone (Gen 2:24). If she has been with someone else before, she should not have broken her former covenant, that is, she should be either widowed or left by her former husband. If she left her husband, the bible requires her to return to him, or to remain alone (1 Co 7:10-11).
In addition, younger women's hearts are also more teachable in God's ways, not having been trained in wickedness for so many years. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Psa 111:10), and since Joshuah's House is based in every respect on Scripture and Scripture alone, she should be inclined, willing and able to learn and understand God's word, and be open for His Saving Grace, in short, she should be brethren. God is the one who opens or closes the hearts and minds towards him (Isa 6:10; Mat 13:15), and by their fruits you shall know them (Mat 7:16, Mat 7:20), so we know what we are looking for in a young lady.
