On Kingdom Building In the Biblical Family Part 3

Thirdly, if we are to fulfill His will on earth, we cannot live within society but have to

"Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Rev 18:4)

This means that we build our home removed from temptations and cares of the world, somewhere in the mountains, where the family can live undisturbed by non-brethren and grow strong and numerous. If you want to follow God's word, you cannot stay inside society:

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." (Jam 4:4)

What life in our family looks like practically, we have described in The Family Dream and Why to Join. The articles A Good Wife and On Protection also give you insight into daily life, and so does Being One of Many, in terms of what kind of behavior we encourage or discourage.

Kingdom Building cannot take place on our terms, but only on God's terms. It is our conviction that Scripture as a whole, Old Testament and New, are God's only, continuously valid and infallible word, and hence the only standard to follow. If you wish to join us, please feel free to contact us either via e-mail, in our yahoo group.
