Head Covering Part 3

(main biblical references: Deu 21:22, Isa 3:24, Rom 14:13, 1 Co 11:3-16)

And one last thing: You think it's unfair that women are treated differently than men ? You don't want to accept that women are not allowed to pray uncovered, or speak in church, that they should be obedient, under authority, and ask their husbands if they have questions concerning Scripture, as Paul states in 1 Co 14:33-35 ? Well, the woman's sin in Eden was trying to run the show, while the man's sin was letting her do so (Gen 3:16-19).

The fallen state of mankind has not changed as yet, and if you look at modern society, you will find it confirmed that Adam's and Eve's respective sin is being committed over and over again every day in today's world, as it obviously was in Paul's times, and all times in between in those societies that turned their backs on God to serve other gods. There is truly nothing new under the sun, not even feminism.

"The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." (Ecc 1:9)

So think before you complain, whether you are not about to commit Eve's sin too, and accept the sign of authority on your head gladly and willingly, for your protection lies with your husband, and your life should be lived to God's glory, every minute of the day.
