3. Raising boys and girls to fulfill the same roles in society is abusive.
Teaching boys and girls that there is no such thing as different roles for men and women violates God's Law, for God clearly spelled out different roles for men and women so that it might be well with us down here. Adam's and Eve's sin in the garden was precisely this - to ignore the given order. Eve craved to run the show, and Adam let her, to put it simply. Consequently, they were cursed, and Eve in particular was cursed to continue craving to run the show, but she is not supposed to. If we teach our children that this has changed, it will not be well with them down here. Depriving a child of the good life that awaits those who keep God's commandments is abusive.
4. Alienating children from God's creation is abusive.
If children are raised up indoors playing video games or spending time in front of the TV, or even if they play in the streets but grow up in the middle of town, chances are that God's creation will be alien to the children, and a sense of stewardship according to God's dominion covenant will not be instilled. Instead, the children will be more familiar with watcher technology and ideology. And this doesn't even mention the health disadvantages of a city child compared to a countryside child. Physical separation from society is essential, physical separation from its influence as well as from the cities, so that the whole beauty of God's creation can be experienced, and the internal godly logic of the world can become obvious.
5. Refusing to teach your children skills and crafts that will ensure independence from society is abusive.
Since society at large is in a state of apostasy, independence from society is crucial to pure and holy living. Teaching a child to function within society, ideologically as well as when it comes to earning a living, means condemning a child to live dependent on an ungodly system, which leads to compromised values and morals. Parents have the responsibility to teach their children how to survive without society as a crutch or provider, but to rely on God's creation and the work of their own hands to make a living.
